Version 3 of Beaver Creek Airport, AirPark and UXBC Resort Airstrip and Settlement have 'gone to press'.
There's lots new, and now the V10 files have been separated to fix terrain, road network and ramp start issues.

CYXQ Beaver Creek Yukon, and our fantastic EPOCH Hub and AirPark has a Phase III Expansion going on right now.

This build cycle, and your ability to have a personalized lot at the AirPark, ends on September 30th at 2300 EDT. The next opportunity will not come until spring.
There are a good number of enhancements to the airfield as well. C'mon in and check it out

A quick one tonight then.
X-Hangar updated the M-7 Maule, including a new version called the TEA (Terrain Extreme) with huge fat tundra tires. The original EPOCH livery didn't work on this version, so Rick kindly got his virtual brushes busy and raised a new version.
Download the file again - in Downloads - for the changes.
The new sked flights #708 and #709 out of PASW Skwentna have been included in the Planning Form dropdown menu.
The button in the Sked Planning Form page had a broken link. It now works.
Thanks all for your patience with site changes. Internet connections have been very problematic over the Labour Day weekend.

Scheduled flight service is now available at EPOCH Alaska Air.
With several thousands of miles of scheduled Part 121 and Part 135 (modified to suit EPOCH) routes, sim pilots now have the added feature of flying skeds any day of the week - morning, mid-day or evening.
The process is detailed, but easy to get a handle on.
START HERE and have a great time Pilots.

This, my friends, is going to be a "post-crazy" week I think!
First of all, the Economy numbers are finished except for a few odds and ends for the Pilots who posted in the Online thread. We'll get those data sheets into the "Economy Page" in the next 2 days. As well, those pilots who participate in the Economy model shall see the chosen work and primary locations tied into the Economy spreadsheet.
Then of course it looks like the Big Draw for the winner of the screenshot contest in the last Online Adventure is going to happen Wednesday when I get a chance to sit down with John, the Judge. That will net the winner a 3 Pack of the aircraft of their choice, drawn from a sales floor of over 50, at X-Hangar.
The EPOCH Alaska Air Schedules Database is complete. This represents the first 100 scheduled routes/legs and consists of 48 Flights covering all of our Main Schedules. This database does not yet include the feeder routes into the various Hubs of EPOCH. That will come in the fall. For the remainder of the summer and early fall however, I imagine that over 11,300 nautical miles of scheduled travel routes ought to keep the Pilots of EPOCH Alaska Air busy .
So, still left to do. Format the database into nice looking and easily-readable snapshots for the Sked Page (coming in a couple days), include a downloadable .pdf file, open the Flight Planning & Reporting Form Page (already built), open the Passenger, Baggage/Gear & Cargo Generator page (already built), display the Economy Payscale and write a step-by-step guide to flying the skeds.
Then of course there is the all-new Aircraft Locator & Condition database. This has each aircraft's location across the state along with the 'condition' of the aircraft (as far as TBO vs. Hours), a trip counter and a Fail Number that is to be used by the pilots in their Flight Planning (and in-sim). A special thanks to gofigure who compiled the location data into Hubs and Locales.
Looking real good for a full release either Wednesday or Thursday night. Thursday is sort of a deadline for me, as I will be out in the bush of North Ontario (in a dHC-2 Beaver no less) in a remote camp for 3 days of downtime, returning Sunday evening. So if I don't get the skeds out before then, it would be Sunday or Monday evening, but I am dedicated to pushing this forward so our Pilots don't spend too much time laying around and drinking all of the root beer

Our second Online TeamSpeak focused adventure is loaded and ready to go.
In this one, you the EPOCH Pilot, will be working with the US Navy just out of Anchorage to test an operational scenario in support of emergency preparedness.
Please see the News Page for details. It's at the top, files are oaded in TeamSpeak, and the first planned adventure, hosted by our Member and Moderator JetJerry, departs at 1500 EDT (1100 AKDT, 1900 GMT) for who knows where
Come on in and let's get flying

Yes folks, this week is the last of the big adventures before the end of July and all of August are spent in the relative tranquility of scheduled service at EPOCH Alaska Air.
But there's lots going on right now!
Our member, rick.hudd has graced us with his artistic talents and made a flagship EPOCH livery for the new X-Hangar Maule M-7 bush plane. The aircraft is absolutely fantastic and the paint is equally so
Also, we have been preparing for another weekend ONLINE Adventure, this time sharing airspace with the Alaskan Military as we embark on joint exercises titled "Round Hole - Square Peg". I can personally assure you that this is a one-of-a-kind, never-done-before adventure in the X-Plane world, and you just plain ol' don't want to miss out.
The new TeamSpeak server has been a decided success, with our largest number ( 7 ) flying together at the same time. Most of them were on Netflight as well, and by the sound of the posts made during the Glacier Adventure, I would say everyone had a very good time.
Alright. That's it for now. I hope everyone is having a decent summer, odd weather aside.

Now let's see...
You folks in Europe must be done supper by now. All of you pilots in Australia and New Zealand are soon getting out of bed, ready for a new day. Those of you across the main part of the Americas are looking at an afternoon, with some almost ready to head home from work and our fine folks in Alaska are about ready for luncheon.
Call it a day and head to the sim pit! Tell the boss that your other job is calling . Why, you ask?
Because we have an ONLINE TeamSpeak Adventure underway today. On our new TeamSpeak server, that works like a charm.
Also, there has been a major update of the Hubs of EPOCH Alaska Air, that can be found under the same name in the Top NavBar when you hover over the EPOCH AA VA tag. Take a look and start imagining that the soon to be released summer skeds are going to see many of these utilized.

I suppose it's not much of a mystery, if you've logged onto the site anytime over the last couple of weeks.
We are doing the Iditaord, and it just went live.
Download links are on the News Page.
A new and improved Adventure process is at the top of the Forum.
... must sleep now.
