Is there a list of "N" numbers for the Unit1, Unit2, etc. aircraft in category? Or do we just make up our own for each aircraft we fly?

Member Posts: 1187 | No N numbers required on EPOCH aircraft, Calvin. Use whatever your particular model has on it.

Calvin, The 'N' numbers are up to you. In chatting with EPOCH members in online flights, it can range from a different N##### assigned to each aircraft in the pilots hangar to using the same N##### for every aircraft, to somewhere in between like using the N##### (or C-###) that is painted on the livery you are using. Whatever makes it the easiest for you is perfectly ok at EPOCH. Rick

Your welcome, B9r. One of the N numbers on one of my models (I forget which one) has the N number C-PHUN. That's ok, too!

Hehe. My personal Norseman is CF-AYO (the very first off of the line). My 185 and new Beaver is C-UXPA (for obvious reasons). ... and the new PC-6 "B/e" variant which is coming soon has a tailnumber of "C-SUSI" in honour of Susi Air in Indonesia (as per the you tube 'worst airports to fly' videos where I became near-obssessed with having a good Porter to fly in AK One of our NightFliers always has "Romeo" in his tail number as a last letter. Scary eh? bc

HA HA. I'm currently in the air flying sked 8150/8151, a simple one that flies tourists from Skwentna over to Talkeetna for shopping, Museum visits, land tours. Then flies back to Skwentna in the p.m. The aircraft is the resident DHC-3 Turbine Otter. Tail number C-FIFI . I have no idea why. You'd have to ask STMA. Sounds like Blue Sky Bob's French Poodle!

Well, a few years ago before Bob moved from the Parry Sound area (here in Ontario) down to Collingwood, he had a lovely cottage/home on a lake just outside of town. He modeled this lightly for use in X-Plane and named the facility "Make It So" Wouldn't surprise me if he had a hand in the tail number Hey, Talkeetna is nice right now! Light winds out of the north, mostly sunny and with no precipitation. Should be a great flight MarvH. Enjoy bc

Nice story about Bob! Just down at Talkeetna.. Tourists disembarked for busses, museum shuttle, town shoppes. Cargo unloaded. Wx is very nice!! Smooth flight. Lovely for a Saturday morning. Think I'll fly back now to Skwentna mty, in order to fly the Saturday run of #708. Then come back here to Talkeetna in the Turbotter later this afternoon for bringing the tourists back to Skwentna. I know I know. "No Pax No pay." But I've got to keep up my rep as a top skedder somehow!

Bob's good people for sure I'm off for Collingwood next month for a weekend and we're going flying in his DA40. Should be a fun time, even in such a modern beast. Anything to get the feet off of the ground though Cheers. Glad your tourists are happy. try for a good tip bc
