I've been flight simming since the 5.25 inch floppy days, flying triangles and listening to buzzing for a propeller. Switched to X-plane starting with version 9. I enjoy flying regional twin turboprops the most. Would love a Dash-8 upgrade and am really hoping the Milviz ATR 72-600 makes it to the market one day.

Fairly new to flight sim, it is a fun thing and a bit of escapism for me. Mainly use FSX and the Misty Moorings scenery package. Only started using X-Plane a month or so ago, flying online with some people i met at a flight sim convention (Cosford), trying to get back from Northern Canada to the UK in time for Christmas. There are a few things in XP that stop me from fully taking the step away from FSX (mainly seasons, ground handling with tail draggers and bush flying scenery) and was pointed to this website to see if it has the sort of thing i am looking for,

Proper seasons/weather (not be snowing and flying over lush green land)
