If you could have one special feature in X-Plane, what would it be?
In XP-10 correct the Chase View perspective to be aircraft centric not Earth centric. (the earth should not rotate when the aircraft banks in the chase view, the plane should.) That is how it works in XP9 or earlier but not XP10.

I have put together a generic cockpit as a part of my home office. Using a mix of Saitek, GoFlight and CH products, I am able to fly most aircraft up to twins with very few clicks of the mouse :). I enjoy having something to "do" while flying, be it a mission, adventure, scheduled service flight, training sequence or what-have-you. I do not like drilling holes in the virtual sky. This is why I started developing scenery and adventures. I started sharing them because it's just who I am
If you could have one special feature in X-Plane, what would it be?
Plausible water and wave effects as well as ground handling.

I've been simming since before 1985. My first sim was the Bruce Artwick sim on a Commodore 64 (I think it was the sim that Microsoft subsequently bought the rights to and it evolved into MS Flightsim). I think I've bought and flown every flight sim that's seen the light of day since then (combat and civil).
If you could have one special feature in X-Plane, what would it be?
Anything that enhances the realism of simulated flying.

I've been a flight sim fan for more than 25 years and flight sims were directly responsible for leading to my professional aviation career. I started with a Commodore 64 and Flight Simulator II, SubLogic Jet, ATP, and followed on with all the MicroProse titles, etc... It is amazing how far we've come. I've also been a regular contributor to PC Pilot magazine (http://pcpilot.net) and was the former Aviation Editor for SimHQ.com. I now run my own site (http://www.mudspike.com) where we do previews, reviews, features, and commentary on sims and games.

I flew frequently and far as a youth on commercial airliners along the Eastern U.S. and across the Atlantic to Europe. My desire to become a real pilot waned as I learned the educational hurdles and financial realities. But the need to experience flight has never faltered, and I am grateful for the advances in personal computers that allows me to fly from the comfort of my home ...with no consequences of significance when I Oops.

If you could have one special feature in X-Plane, what would it be?
A bit more standardization in the aircraft models and peripheral controls thereof. It seems that the latest models require unique coding/plugins that are too fragile as new versions of X-Plane are released.
